Toronto, The City that Never Sleeps...

Really? I think that is New York’s slogan not Toronto’s. Stop trying to be New York Toronto! (Well that is a nother post for another day.) Now I could be wrong, but I am up at night a lot. I will let you in on a little secret.
Toronto SLEEPS! I don’t, well not the usual hours, I was all excited when I heard that it never slept either. Well ladies and gentleman go to sleep, because it seems like the rest of the city has around 3:00am. So what is a guy to do at 5:00 am? Well sleep it seems.
I decided today that I would get up nice and early and go do some shopping for socks, and then wander around Toronto while it wasn’t sleeping. Well WAKE UP Toronto because Oz is waiting for you to get started. I woke up at 8:30, thinking things would be in full movement at 9:00. Nope, once again Toronto fooled me. What a little trickster Toronto is. I got to the Eaton Center at 9:15 or so, it was still asleep, apparently it and everything around it opens at 10:00.
10:00!!?!?!?! Hmm, okay so from now on I know that I need to go to bed at 2:30-3:00 and wake up at 9:30, and then Toronto will be awake. Me thinks Toronto sleeps to much, what a lazy head.

Who is it, may I ask, that said that Toronto never sleeps? I think it was you who made it up in your head. Everyone says, "New York: The City That Never Sleeps" because I'm sure it doesn't ever sleep. But I think in your mind you transfered that to Toronto. This is Canada, and we get tired.
